Yaari aur dushmani ki lakeerien badli hain,
Chaadar pe silvatein, maathe pe lakeerien badli hain,
Sukhe patte, makdi ke jaale,
Mere aashiyane ki tasveerien badli hain
Jaate waqt de gaya tha jinko ghar ki chaabiyan,
Aj unki aukat, unki nazeerein badli hain,
Hukamrano ke bi andaz nahi badle,
Var nahi badle, shamsheerein badli hain
Pehle main muhabbat ka tha,
Ab main is saltanat ka hoon,
Ghulam bilkul nahi badla,
Zanjeerein badli hain
